Create and export the animated content

Use InDesign to create your animation, export with in5, and use the in5 Animated GIF Maker to create an animated GIF from it.


Add the animated GIF to Outlook* as your email signature

You can add your animated GIF as an email signature by doing the following in Outlook on macOS or Windows:

  1. Go to Settings (the gear icon in the upper right).
  2. Search for Email Signature.
  3. Under the text field for your email signature name, click on the picture icon (the first icon on the left).
  4. Navigate to the animated GIF you created with InDesign, in5, and the in5 Animated GIF Maker.
  5. Select the animated GIF and click on the link icon on the far right in that same section.
  6. Add the URL for the link that you want to add.
  7. Click Save.


*Note: An animated GIF could be used as an email signature in other mail clients. The steps for adding it may vary.
