If you would like to add an animated counter, such as a countdown or a growing percentage, to your InDesign layout to be exported with in5, there are a variety of approaches you could take.
Slideshow with a Multi-state Object (MSO)
Create an MSO where each object state contains the numbers you want included. Then apply the Slideshow widget (in5 > Interactive Widgets > Slideshow). You can set it to Auto Play, set the Interval in seconds, and add a Cross Fade transition.
Image Sequence
Create the animation in another application, such as Adobe After Effects, export an image sequence, and use the images with the in5 Image Sequence widget. With the Image Sequence widget, you can set the image sequence to Auto Play and also set the Speed.
Video
If you're using After Effects, you could render an MP4 and place it in your layout. Set it to Auto Play and Mute in the in5 Video widget (in5 > Interactive Widgets > Video) to make sure that it plays in the browser without user any interaction.
Embed an HTML widget in your layout
Find an HTML counter online and embed it in your layout.
If the website providing the counter can generate an embed code, apply it to your layout by going to Object > Insert HTML... and pasting the embed code in the Edit HTML dialog.
If there isn't an embed code with the counter, you can embed it using the in5 Web Content widget (in5 > Interactive Widgets > Web Content).
Adobe Animate or Tumult Hype
Create the counter in Adobe Animate or Tumult Hype, publish an OAM file, and place (File > Place...) the OAM file in your InDesign layout
Add a Lottie file
Adding a pre-made Lottie animation of a counter may be the easiest approach. The animated counter above is a Lottie file that was downloaded as an animated GIF.

Incorporate a script or CSS that you find online
If you'd like to use a counter that you find online that uses JavaScript or CSS, then you can add the code to the Resources section of the Export HTML5 with in5 dialog (in5 > Export HTML5 with in5).
