Embedding HTML5 content into your InDesign layout to be exported with in5


There are two approaches that you can use to embed content into your InDesign layout for which in5 will create the iframe for you:

  • Use the InDesign HTML object (Object > Insert HTML...) that uses an embed code (technically, the site that generates the embed code--generally content from sites such as YouTube or Google Maps--includes the iframe which in5 honors).
  • Use the in5 Web Content Interactive Widget (in5 > Interactive Widgets > Web Content) to embed either a URL or local HTML5 content.


Embedding your in5-exported content into another site or CMS


If you'd like to embed your in5-exported content into a WordPress site, then you can use the free in5 WordPress plugin that will create the iframe for you:

If you're not using WordPress, then whether you create the iframe yourself would depend on where you're embedding your in5-exported content. If you're using Sharepoint, Squarespace, or Drupal; then there are proprietary solutions for embedding content:
